Located just east of the university's uptown campus, the Academic Health Center houses some the university's most innovative and captivating science and research laboratories—not to mention four academic colleges and a number of patient care facilities and resources.

With $270 million in research dollars, more than 290,000 patients and more than 3,000 aspiring health professionals, the UC Academic Health Center is by far one of the most innovative academic health research complexes in the nation.

Colleges & Programs

The Academic Health Center includes the colleges of allied health sciences, medicine, nursing and pharmacy, Hoxworth Blood Center, UC Barrett Cancer Center at University Hospital, the Genome Research Institute and UC Physicians.

Affiliations

Teaching and research affiliates include University Hospital, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Shriners Hospital for Children-Cincinnati, Jewish Hospital, Christ Hospital and the Neuroscience Institute.
