HEALTH-UC is the AHEC Center for the Area Health Education Center Program of the University of Cincinnati. We serve Region VI of the Ohio Statewide AHEC Program. The primary service area is comprised of Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, Highland and Warren counties.

The AHEC Program is a multi-disciplinary project that seeks to improve the availability of healthcare professionals and improve access to quality health care in Ohio. This mission is addressed through educational interventions, academic and community partnerships, sharing resources of the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center and collaboration with other health-related agencies and institutions.
