Finance and administration provides accounting, finance and human resources oversight to all entities on the UC Academic Health Center campus. 

Key office responsibilities include coordinating an annual budget process that provides budgetary, human resources and administrative guidance to the colleges of allied health, medicine, nursing and pharmacy and to various other units, including the Hoxworth Blood Center. The office also serves as a liaison between the university's central offices and the Academic Health Center on university-wide issues.

In addition, the office acts as the business portal to all areas and units supported by the vice president for health affairs and dean of the College of Medicine, and the vice president for research.
